SSC has lately released its notification for recruiting the Multitasking Staffs in different states and union territories. The commission has proposed to hold a common examination for all candidates. As per SSC, following calendar is released officially in the context of MTS exam.
i. Date of Advertisement: - 31st December 2017.
ii. Closing Date: - 30th January 2017.
iii. Date of Examination: - 16th & 30th April 2017, 7th May 2017.
Scheme of Examination:
SSC has decided to conduct examinations in two phases: -
a. Paper-I, which is of objective type.
b. Paper-II, this one is of descriptive type.

Important points to be considered further
a. Paper-I will contain Objective type- Multiple choice questions.
b. The language medium for the exam will be both English/Hindi. The commission reserves the right to set the questions additionally in regional languages subject to technical feasibility.
c. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. So, mark the answer carefully and with conformance.
d. Paper-II, which is descriptive exam, can be written in English or any language listed in the 8th schedule of the constitution.
e. Paper-II is of only qualifying nature and intended to test elementary skills of language in the view of recategorization as Group-C and job requirements.
f. Paper-II will be held only for those who have qualified the cutoff requirements in the Paper-I for different categories.
General Instructions for the candidates in the written Examination: -
i. Candidates must write the papers/indicate the answers manually.
ii. You are not permitted to use any electronic gadgets i.e. calculators/Mobile phones in the exam premises. If any one found to possess such items, then his candidature will be subjected to cancellation.
iii. In the question papers, wherever necessary, the metric systems of weights and measures only will be used.
