AFCAT 2 Recruitment 2024 Notification: 317 Vacancies, Check Important Dates

AFCAT 2 Notification 2024: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the notification for Air Force Common Admission Test 2 on the official website afcat.cdac.in. The detailed notification is available in Employment News May (25-31) 2024 as well. A total of 317 vacancies will be filled for Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), Ground Duty (Non-Technical) and Flying branches. Candidates can apply online from 30 May and the last date of application will be 28 June 2024.

Applications will also be invited for NCC Special Entry Scheme (for Flying Branch). The online application for appearing in the examination has started from 01 December. The last date for submission of applications is December 30. The exam date will be announced in the notification. The course will commence in January 2025.

AFCAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Flying Branch: 12th with 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics and Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent. OR B.E./B.Tech degree or equivalent with minimum 60% marks. OR Candidates who have passed Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Section A and B examination of Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks or equivalent marks.

Ground Duty: Aeronautical Engineer - 12th with 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics and Graduate/Integrated Post Graduate qualification in Engineering/Technology or passed Section A & B examination of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of Associate Membership. Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers in India or by actual study with minimum 60% marks or equivalent in the concerned subjects.

Administration – 12th with minimum 60% marks and passed Graduate or equivalent or Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.

Education - 12th with 50% marks in any discipline and Post Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks, PG (Single Degree without permission of exit and lateral entry) integrated courses.

Logistics – Graduate in any discipline with 60% marks or equivalent or passed Section A & B examination of Institution of Engineers (India) or Associate Membership of Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized University with minimum 60% marks or equivalent.

NCC – Minimum 60% marks each in Mathematics and Physics in 10+2. Graduate with minimum three years degree course in any discipline with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized University OR B.E./B.Tech degree (four years course) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized University OR candidates who have passed Section A & B Examination with minimum 60% marks or equivalent from a recognized University.
