CBSE Class 10 Maths Board Exam 2017 (or CBSE Class 10 SA 2 Maths Paper 2017) was held on 03 April 2017 from 10:30 AM to 01:30 PM. In CBSE board exams 2017, 15 minutes time is allotted to read the question paper. So, question papers were distributed to the students at 10:15 AM and the paper stated from 10:30 AM. The duration of the paper was 3 hours and it carried 90 marks.

Breaking down the CBSE Class 10 Maths Summative Assessment 2 Paper 2017
CBSE Class 10 Maths board exam 2017 question paper consisted of 4 sections.
Section A contained four questions of 1 mark each.
Section B contained six questions of 2 marks each.
Section C contained ten questions of 3 marks each.
Section D contained eleven questions of 4 marks each.
Total 31 questions were present in the question paper totaling to 90 Marks. Students had to attempt all the questions within 3 hours of duration. There were no choices in any questions of the question paper.

According to the students, CBSE Class 10 Maths board exam 2017 question paper was quite easy. Most of the students pointed that paper was very easy as compared to previous year papers. The paper didn't consist of any tricky or highly difficult questions. Most of the students are expecting more than 70 marks in the paper.
