CBSE Class 12 Physics board exam 2017 was held today (i.e. 15 March 2017) from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. About 10, 98, 891 lakh candidates registered for CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2017. Candidate of CBSE Class 12 having Physics (subject code 042) as one of their subjects appeared for this exam.
The time allotted to read the question paper was 15 minutes. The questions papers were distributed at 10:15 AM and the paper started at 10:30 AM. The duration of the paper was 3 hours and it carried a total of 70 marks.

Format of CBSE Class 12 Physics Board Exam 2017 Question Paper
CBSE Class 12 Physics theory paper consisted of five sections namely A, B, C, D, & E; which contained questions totalling to 70 marks that had to be answered within 3 hours of duration. Majority of students found Section C and Section D to be the lengthiest among all the other sections.

General opinion of students about CBSE Class 12 Physics Question Paper
According to a few students, the paper consisted of some direct questions, tricky numerical sets as well as straightforward derivations questions. A moderate number of numerical problems and derivation based questions were asked this year. Most of the students felt that some numerals and conceptual questions were tricky.
