CBSE has notified the schedule for CBSE UGC NET 2018, as per the notification examination will be held on 8th July 2018. CBSE UGC NET 2018 is being conducted to certify the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor role.
Aspirants with Master’s Degree or equivalent with minimum 55% from universities/institutions recognized by UGC may apply for CBSE UGC NET 2018 through online mode. Candidates will be able to apply online from 06 March 2018 onwards, the last date of online application submission is 5 April 2018.
As per the official declaration by CBSE the CBSE UGC NET 2018 examination scheme has been revised this year. Now, the examination will consist of two papers, Paper I will 50 compulsory objective type questions and 100 marks and the examination will be of 1-hour duration. Whereas, Paper II will consist of 100 compulsory questions with weightage of 200 marks and the duration of examination will be 2 hours. CBSE UGC NET 2018 Paper I will test candidates reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness and Paper II will consist questions on a subject chosen by the candidate.
Furthermore, UGC/CBSE has raised the upper age limit for candidates appearing for JRF by two years, now the upper age limit for CBSE UGC NET 2018 will be 30 years for JRF aspirants.
