Health Department Chandigarh Malaria Wing invited applications for appointment to the post of Medical Lab Technician, Multipurpose Health Worker (Male), Insect Collector, Driver and Sanitary Beldar (Male). The candidates eligible for the post can apply online after 15 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.

Pay scale

• Medical Lab Technician: Rs.10300 - 34800 + Rs.4200/- Grade pay
• Multipurpose Health Worker (Male): Rs.10300 – 34800 + Rs.3200/- Grade pay
• Insect Collector: Rs.5900 -20200/- + Rs.2400/- Grade pay
• Driver: Rs.5900 - 20200/- + Rs.2400/-Grade pay
• Sanitary Beldar (Male): Rs.4900 -10680 +1400/-Grade pay

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Medical Lab Technician: BSc or Diploma in Lab Technology or equivalent with 2 years experience OR 12^th class passed with three years vocational Course in Lab Technology and 1 year practical training.
• Multipurpose Health Worker (Male): 10^th/12^th class passed or its equivalent with Science (Chemistry and Physics) and Basic Health Worker (MPW) Course.
• Insect Collector: 10^th/12^th class passed or its equivalent with Science (Chemistry and Physics) and Basic Health Worker (MPW) Course.
• Driver: 10^th class passed or its equivalent and should possessed a License for driving a heavy vehicle with 5 years experience of driving.
• Sanitary Beldar (Male): Middle Passed.

Age Limit:

• Candidate age should be between 18-25 years as on 1 January 2013.
• Age relaxation will be applicable as per the rules.

Application Fees:

• General Category candidates have to pay Rs.250/- for Sanitary Beldar post and Rs.450/- for other posts.
• SC/OBC Category candidates have to pay Rs.150/- for Sanitary Beldar post and Rs.300/- for other posts.
