CEIL Recruitment 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should read the eligibility criteria carefully before applying for CEIL Recruitment 2026. The following are the requirements of eligibility:
1. Nationality

Candidate must be a citizen of India
2. Educational Qualification (Post-Wise)
- QA/QC Engineers (Mechanical/Production, Civil, Electrical & Instrumentation): Engineering graduate or diploma holder in the relevant field with at least 50% marks.
- Safety Officer (Officer Grade-III): Engineering graduate in any field with at least 50% marks, with Degree/Diploma in industrial safety.
- Marketing & Business Development Officer: Engineering graduate or diploma holder in mechanical/production/civil/IT/CS/electrical/electronics/instrumentation with at least 50% marks.
- Contract & Purchase Officers: Engineering graduate/diploma holder in the relevant engineering discipline with at least 50% marks.
- Office Management Officer: Engineering graduate/diploma holder in the relevant engineering discipline with at least 50% marks.
- HR Associate (Grade-II): Graduate in any field with Diploma in Personnel Management and at least 50% marks.
3. Age Limit (Post-Wise)
- Officer Grade-I: 35 - 40 years
- Officer Grade-II: 40 - 45 years
- Officer Grade-III: 45 - 50 years
- Officer Grade-IV: 55 years (for both Degree and Diploma holders)
- HR Associate Grade-II: 45 years
- Eligible candidates fromreserved categories are given some relaxation in the age limit as per government rules.
4. Experience Required
Grade-I Officer: Min 2 years - 6 years
Grade-II Officer: Min 6 years - 10 years
Grade-III Officer: Min 10 years - 14 years
Grade-IV Officer: Min 15 years - 20 years
HR Grade-II Associate: Min 5 years in Personnel/Administrative Functions
5. Extra Requirement for QA/QC (Machinery/Product)
Level-II Certificate from ASNT in NDT Methods (e.g., UT, RT, MPT, and PT) is Compulsory.
Preference would be given to candidates who have ASNT Level-III, CSWIP 3.1, or PAUT Certification.
6. Extra Requirement for QA/QC (Electrical & Instrumentation)
Preference would be given to candidates with NACE level 1 and level 2.
