CSIR UGC NET June 2024 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2024 notification. The registration has been started on the official website i.e. on 01 May. Those who want to appear in the exam can submit their application on or before 21 May. The submission of the application form is being done by accessing the NTA website csirnet.nta.ac.in. Application Forms in any other mode will not be accepted.
The exam is an eligibility test for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship (NET) in various disciplines in Indian universities and colleges. It is conducted in computer-based mode at various centres across the country. Candidate must carefully read all the instructions given in the Information Bulletin available on the NTA Website, before submitting their application for the exam.
The exam will be conducted for the following subjects:
- Chemical Sciences
- Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Mathematical Sciences
- Physical Sciences
CSIR UGC NET June Exam Date 2024
The exam will be conducted for three consecutive days across the country. The exam will be held on 25, 26 and 27 June 2024. The mode of the exam will be online. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The Test will consist of three parts. There will be no break between papers.

CSIR UGC NET June 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Master's Degree or equivalent in the concerned subject with at least 55% marks for General category and 50% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
- Candidates pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed equivalent are also eligible to apply.
- The age for JRF should not be more than 30 years
- There is no upper age limit to apply for the post of Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.

How to Apply for CSIR UGC NET June 2024 ?
- Visit the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in.
- On the homepage, click on "Joint CSIR-UGC NET Registration Open (Click Here)".
- Register for Online Form submission using a unique Email ID and Mobile No.
- Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application No.
- After that, upload the required documents
- Pay the prescribed fee through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card and UPI, and keep proof of fee paid for future reference
- Download, save and print copies of the Confirmation Page after successful remittance of fee and keep copies safely for future reference

CSIR UGC NET JRF Stipend 2024
The stipend of a JRF selected through CSIR- National Eligibility Test (NET) will be Rs. 37,000/- per month for the first two years.
CSIR UGC NET June Admit Card 2024
The candidate has to download the Admit Card from the NTA website and appear for the Examination at the given Centre on Date, timing and Examination as indicated in their Admit Card.
CSIR UGC NET June Answer Key 2024
The NTA will upload the Recorded Responses and Question Paper attempted by the candidates on the NTA website https://csirnet.nta.ac.in/ prior to the declaration of the result. The recorded responses are likely to be displayed for two to three days.
Joint CSIR-UGC NET is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor’, ‘appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.’ and ‘admission to Ph.D. only’ in Indian universities and colleges and R&D Establishment.
