Eligibility Criteria for Custom Department Visakhapatnam Group C Cadre Posts
Educational Qualification and Experience:
- Seaman - 10th Passed and 3years’ Service on sea going mechanized vessel with 2 years’ experience in helmsman and seamanship work
- Greaser - 10th Passed and 3years’ Service on sea going mechanized vessel with 2 years’ experience in helmsman and auxiliary machinery maintenance
- Launch Mechanic–10th Standard Passed and 5 years’ Service on sea going vessel with 1 year independent charge of Engine and auxiliary Machinery.
- Sr.Deck Hand - 10th Standard Passed and 5 years’ Serviceon sea going vessel with 2 years in helmsman and seamanship work
Age Limit:
- Seaman - 18 to 25 Years
- Greaser - 18 to 25 Years
- Launch Mechanic/Sr.Deck Hand - 18 to 30 Years

Selection will be done on the basis of written examination and proficiency test.
