Eligibility Criteria for Faculty Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Professor: A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956 and PG in Concerned Specialty. Or Masters Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline and Doctorate degree from a recognised university and Four years teaching experiences as Reader or Associate professor in a recognized medical college.
Assistant Professor: A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956 and PG in Concerned Specialty. Or Masters Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline and Doctorate degree from a recognised university and 3 years teaching experiences as Resident or Registrar or Demonstrator or Tutor in a recognized medical college.
Associate professor: A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council, Act, 1956 and PG in Concerned Specialty. Or Masters Degree in the concerned subject or allied discipline and Doctorate degree from a recognised university and Four years teaching experiences as Lecturer or Assistant professor in a recognized medical college.
