Food Corporation of India (FCI) has announced total 4103 vacancies for Zone-Wise Recruitment of Junior Engineer (JE) (Civil Engineering/ Electrical Mechanical Engineering), Assistant Grade II (AG II) (Hindi), Steno Grade-II, Typist (Hindi) and Assistant Grade - III (AG III) (General/ Accounts/ Technical/ Depot). FCI will conduct Phase-I Online Prelims exam on 31st May, 1st June, 2nd June & 3rd June 2019. Candidates are required to start their exam preparation and must go through the Zone List shared by FCI for 2019 Recruitment.

While filling the application form, the candidates must make sure to fill the Desired Preference Zone correctly, as their preferences will be considered during the Final Selection and Posting Process. The candidate on selection to a particular Zone of FCI is liable to be posted in any State within the jurisdiction of that Zone. However, they are also liable to be posted anywhere in the country in the interest of the Corporation.

A candidate can apply in any one zone only, i.e., either North Zone or South Zone or East Zone or West Zone or North East Zone. If it is found at any stage that a candidate has applied for two or more Zones his/her candidature shall be summarily cancelled. In case of multiple applications, even within a Zone the candidature shall be summarily cancelled.

A candidate can apply only for any one of the post code A-J.E.(Civil Engineering), B-J.E.(Electrical Mechanical Engineering), C-Steno Grade-II, D-AG-II(Hindi), E- Typist(Hindi), F-AG-III(General), G-AG-III(Accounts), H-AG-III(Technical) and I-AG-III(Depot) (within the zone).

The candidate will be considered for the post applied for, on the basis of his/her merit for the post within the Zone.

Many times candidates get confused while filling the Zone Code or Zonal preference in the application form. Therefore, candidates must refer to the above mentioned Zone list while filling the form and carefully make preferences of the zones considering their career prospects in that particular zones.
