The IAS main is commencing from 2 December on the new syllabus and pattern. The Indian Polity will now have a greater say in the final result of the IAS Main. Recently Union Public Service Commission has released the Scheme of Examination for IAS Main 2013.The new pattern will have a separate paper for the Polity and the syllabus is quite oriented towards the Federal Structure of the nation and current events in the Indian Political System.
The syllabus mandate is the current bills pending in the Parliament and some of the most important Acts passed by our Parliament which form the important basis of our political culture.
Some of the important Topics are as follows:
Constitutional Provisions related to State reorganisation and the States Autonomy.
Indian Patent Law and its implications on the Indian Health Sector.
The constitutionality of the Investigation Agencies and the recent litigations related to it.
