Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) issued the notification for recruitment for 14000+ Officer Scale I/II/III and Office Assistant in various Regional Rural Banks (RRB) across the country. The eligible candidates can apply online on the official website on IBPS till the last of 14 August 2017.
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) notified the dates of preliminary and Main online examination for the recruitment to the post of Officer Scale I/II/III and Office Assistant. The IBPS Preliminary Examination is tentatively scheduled to be held on 9/10/16/17/23/24 September 2017 and the IBPS CWE RRB-VI (Officers) Mains Exam tentatively will be held on 05 November 2017 and CWE RRB-VI (Office Assistants) on 12 November 2017. A single examination will be held for the Officers scale II and III along with the IBPS CWE RRB-VI (Officers) Mains Exam on 05 November 2017.
IBPS follows three-phase recruitment process, which consists of Two Tier examination and Interview. Aspirants can register for the Officer Scale I/II/III and Office Assistant through the official website and successfully registered candidates are called for the IBPS CWE RRB-VI (Officers) and CWE RRB-VI (Office Assistants) Preliminary Examination. Candidates who qualify the prelims are further called for IBPS CWE RRB-VI (Officers) and CWE RRB-VI (Office Assistants) Mains Exam, and subsequently for the interview.
To be eligible to apply for the IBPS CWE RRB-VI (Officers) and CWE RRB-VI (Office Assistants) Preliminary Examination candidate should possess Degree in any discipline from a recognised University. There is a maximum and minimum age limit for the Probationary Officers/Management Trainee i.e candidate should be minimum 20 years should not be more than 30 Years (age relaxation for all reserved categories as per govt norms).
In the Preliminary phase, examinees are tested on their knowledge of Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude/Numerical Ability for Officer and Office Assistant respectively, whereas in the Mains examination candidates are subjected to the questions from the subjects of Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English/Hindi Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (with special reference to Banking) and Computer Knowledge.
