Eligibility Criteria for Senior Research Fellow, Research Associates and Other Posts

Educational Qualification

Research Associate- The candidate should have Ph.D degree in Agricultural Economics/Economics/Applied Economics/Environmental Economics/Econometrics/Agricultural Statistics/Statistics. Or Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics/Economics/ Applied Economics/Environmental Economics/Econometrics/Agricultural Statistics/Statistics with 4-5 years of Bachelor’s Degree having 1^st Division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average and at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associate ship/Training/Other engagements.

Senior Research Fellow- The candidate should have Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics/Economics/ Applied Economics/Environmental Economics/Econometrics/Agricultural Statistics/Statistics with 4-5 years of Bachelor’s Degree. For Candidates having Master’s Degree in Basic Sciences (2 years) and 3 years Bachelor’s Degree should have NET Qualification.

Field Investigators- The candidate should have Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with sound knowledge of MS Office and other related computer programmers.

Senior Research Fellow- The candidate should have PhD in Agricultural Economics/ Extension/ Agricultural Statistics, or Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics/ Extension/

Agricultural Statistics with 4 years/ 5 years of Bachelor's Degree, or for Candidates having Master's Degree in Basic Sciences (2 years) and 3 years Bachelor's Degree should have NET Qualification.

Age Limit

Research Associates – 40 years for Men, 45 years for women
Senior Research Fellow- 35 years for Men, 40 years for women
Field Investigators- 35 years

Eligible candidates may appear for walk-in Interview on 12th, 16th and 17th May 2017 as per the schedule at The Auditorium, Ground Floor, ICAR-National Institute of Agricultural Economics and Policy Research, D.P.S. Marg, Pusa, New Delhi-110 012. Candidates are required to bring detailed bio-data with one set of photocopies of requisite documents and one self-attested passport size photograph at the time of Interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending Interview.
