Eligibility Criteria for SRF & Young Professional-II Posts Job
Educational Qualification:
SRF
- Crop Improvement: Ph. D or M.Sc. (with 4-5 years B.Sc. or NET/GATE qualified as per ICAR rule) in Plant Breeding and Genetics/Life Sciences with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics.
- Natural Resource Management: Ph. D or M.Sc. (with 4-5 years B.Sc. or NET/GATE qualified as per ICAR rule) in Soil Science/Agronomy/Agro-forestry.
- Fishery: Ph. D or M.F.Sc./M. Sc. (with 4-5 years B.F.Sc., or NET/GATE qualified as per ICAR rule) in Fishery Science/Zoology with specialization in Fishery Science.
- Livestock production: Ph. D or M.V.Sc./M.Sc. (with 4-5 years B.V. Sc. or NET/GATE qualified as per ICAR rule) in Veterinary Science/poultry Science/Animal Biotechnology/Livestock production management/ Microbiology/ Immunology/Virology/Zoology.
- Young Professional-II: Ph. D or M.Sc. (with 4-5 years B.Sc. or NET/GATE qualified as per ICAR rule) in Agricultural Extension/Agricultural Economics.
Young Professional-II
- Crop Improvement: Post graduate degree in Agricultural science with specialization in Plant Breeding and Genetics.
- Livestock production: Graduate degree in Veterinary Science
Age Limit
SRF is 35 years for men & 40 years for women candidate
YP-II is 45 years
