IIT JEE Results 2012 Declared

The Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) final results were declared on 18 May 2012. The written exam was held on 8 April 2012 for admission to the Undergraduate Programmes at 15 IITs and other Technological Institutes.

Candidates who qualify in the examination can apply for admission to the BArch (Bachelor of Architecture), B Des (Bachelor of Design), B Tech (Bachelor of Technology), Dual Degree (Integrated Bachelor of Technology and Master of Technology), Integrated MSc (Master of Sciences) and Integrated MSc (Tech) (Master of Sciences and Technology) courses in the various institutes.

A total of seventeen colleges use JEE as sole criterion for admission to their undergraduate programs, namely the 15 Indian Institutes of Technology, Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU), Varanasi and Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad.
