IIT Kharagpur Offers International Level Short-term Courses to Students of Other Colleges

The Indian Institute of Technology - Kharagpur has launched a number of short term courses under the guidance of an international faculty, which are meant for the students/faculty of other colleges, offering them an opportunity to study at this topnotch institution.

The International Summer and Winter Term (ISWT) will be held each year during the months May-July and December, said officials of IIT Kharagpur.  

Bringing together the intelligentsia from India and abroad, the initiative will offer all the participants an opportunity to make new friends and interact with about 30 international experts, stated the officials.  

The courses are designed around current and multi-disciplinary themes of science, engineering, management and law. The duration of each course is of two weeks or ten working days which include lectures and tutorials per day.

They said participants can be even from the industry and research organizations.

Students registered for these courses will have the opportunity to obtain additional academic credits based on evaluation and grading process, they added.
