Eligibility Criteria for IIT Kharagpur Non-Teaching Post

Educational Qualification and Experience

• Research Associate -  M.Tech. in Physics, Materials Science with 4 years research experience / Ph.D. in Physics , Materials Science and Experience in the semiconductor technology & optoelectronic devices
• Junior Project Officer (Tech Support) - Graduate and 10+ years of experience in managing academic research projects, Excellent experience with Microsoft Excel/Word/Power point
• Junior Project Officer (Technical) - M. Tech. in Mechanical/Metallurgy and knowledge in CFD applications/ software like Fluent, Comsol
• Research Engineer - B. Tech in Mechanical Engg/Industrial Engg/ Production Engg./Manufacturing Engg or related areas with minimum 65% marks or CGPA 7.0 Valid GATE/NET score and experience with Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems, Manufacturing Automation
• Junior Research Fellowship (Research ) - B. Tech (ECE or EE) with valid GATE/NET score OR M. Tech (ECE or EE) OR M.Sc. Physics with specialization in Photonics or Electronics and valid GATE/NET score OR M.Sc in Physics or Mathematics with valid GATE or Net/ M. Sc. (Tech.) with Specialization in Meteorology or Oceanography or M. Tech. in Earth System Science and Technology
• Project Assistant (Technical) - Degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication/ Electrical Engineering and Thorough knowledge of the working of DTH broadcasting channels particularly preparing the transmission schedule, arranging the video contents in an hourly transmission format using suitable filler videos and provide the contents to the remote uplinking facility through the cloud based service
• Engineering Manager (Technical) - B.Tech in Computer Science or Mathematics and Computing from Tier 1 or tier 2 College. PhD is a big plus in AI/ML is good, related to CS, Math, OR, EE, ECE. and 5+ years of experience in the domain
