Indian Oil Corporation Limited Job Notification: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) invited applications for the post of Apprentices. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 28 February 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for Apprentices Job

Educational Qualification:

• Technician Apprentices: 3(Three)Years full time regular diploma in Engineering from recognized University/Institute.
• Trade Apprentices: Matric with 2(Two) year ITI ( as per discipline) full time, regular course from recognized University/Institute.

Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years

Selection Procedure

1. Selection process would consist of two stages i.e written test & personal interview. The written test will be of Ninety Minutes duration & would comprise of objective type Multiple choice questions on the relevant discipline, generic aptitude including quantitative aptitude,reasoning abilities and basic English language skills. There shall be no negative marking. The questions will be in bilingual ie., English and Hindi. 

The written test will assess the candidates on the following parameters:-

Trade Apprentice Accountant: 

• Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning Abilities
• Basic English Language Skills

Trade Apprentice (Fitter/Electrician/Electronic Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic/Machinist) & Technician Apprentice (Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil/Electrical & Electronics/Electronics : 

• Technical Acumen in relevant discipline
• Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude
• Reasoning Abilities
• Basic English Language Skills

2. Obtaining minimum qualifying marks in the written test does not confer any right or claim by the candidate for being shortlisted for Personal Interview or the final selection, as the same is related to number of positions, relative performance in respective categories.

3. The written test and interview would carry a weightage of 85 % and 15 % respectively.

4. Final selection will be based on aggregate of Written Test and Personal Interview marks. Candidates, in the order of merit will be offered the apprenticeship.
