- Scientist -F/ Deputy Director: Ph.D. Geophysics/ Physics.
- Scientist –E: Post Graduate in Geophysics/ Geology/ Physics.
- Scientist –D: Post Graduate in Geophysics/ Geology/ Physics.
- Scientist –C: Post Graduate in Geophysics/ Geology/Physics.
- Scientist – B: Post Graduate in Geophysics/ Geology/ Physics/ Computational Seismology/ Earth Science/ Geotechnical Engineering.
Age Limit
- Scientist -F/ Deputy Director: 42 years of age
- Scientist –E: 40 years of age
- Scientist –D: 37 years of age
- Scientist –C: 35 years of age
- Scientist – B: 32 years of age
