ISRO Space Applications Centre Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow and Research Associate 2012

Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad is one of the lead Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS). SAC focuses on design of space borne instruments for terrestrial and planetary missions of ISRO and development and operationalisation of space technology for national development. It invites application from eligible candidates for filling up the posts mentioned below.

• Junior Research Fellows (JRF): 8 vacancies (Agrometeorology/ Agronomy/ Geoinformatics/ Geology/ Geophysics/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Physics- Optics/ Applied Optics/ Optoelectronics/ Electronics)
• Research Associates: 7 vacancies in Agricultural Engineering/ Agrometeorogy/ RS/ Geo-Informatics/ Physics/ Geophysics/ Geology/ Radar Engineering

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 20 February 2012)

• Junior Research Fellows (JRF): Maximum 30 years
• Research Associates: Maximum 35 years

Pay Scale

• Junior Research Fellows (JRF): Rs 16000 per month + 20% HRA (for 1st and 2nd year). Rs 18000 per month + 20% HRA (subsequent years)
• Research Associates: Rs 22,000 per month (Research Associateship I), Rs 23,000 per month (Research Associateship II) and Rs 24,000 per month (Research Associateship III). It will also include 20% HRA for each level.
