Indian Navy invited applications for the post of Cook and Other Posts. The eligible candidates can apply online through the prescribed format on or before 19 June 2016.
Under Indian Navy Recruitment 2016, there are Posts for Cook (MR), Steward (MR) and Topass (NMR).
Eligibility for Cook (MR): They should be Matric/class 10th passed. They would be required to prepare food as per menu (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian including handling of meat products) and accounting of ration. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of organisation.
Eligibility for Steward (MR): They should be Matric/class 10th passed. They would be required to serve food in the officer’s messes, as waiters, housekeeping, accounting of funds, wine and stores, preparation of menu etc. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of organization.
Eligibility for Topass (NMR): They should be VI standard qualified. They will be required to maintain hygiene in washrooms and other areas. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of organization.
Age Limit for Cook and Other Posts Job - 17 to 21 years (Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women, as per Govt. Rules.
