KTET Notification 2024: The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has released the KTET notification for the April 2024 cycle on April 16. Candidates aspiring to become teachers in Kerala schools can submit their application forms from today, April 17, on the official website at ktet.kerala.gov.in. The last date to apply for the KTET 2024 exam is April 26, 2024.

KTET is a state-level exam conducted twice a year to assess candidates' aptitude to teach in Lower Primary and Upper Primary schools in Kerala. This exam adheres to guidelines established by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Kerala, in conjunction with regulations set forth by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the Department of General Education, and the Government of Kerala.

KTET Exam Date

The KTET exam is scheduled to take place on June 22 and 23, with two shifts each day. The first shift will be from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, and the second shift will be from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.

KTET 2024 exam will be conducted separately for each category, including Category 1 (for Lower Primary classes), Category 2 (for Upper Primary classes), Category 3 (for High School classes), and Category 4 (for Language Teachers - Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu up to UP classes), Specialist Teachers (Art & Craft), and Physical Education teachers.
