    List of India’s Joint Defence Exercise for CDS & NDA Exams

    Every year at least one-two questions are asked about the name and places of India’s recent joint defence exercises with various countries. Therefore, we are providing the most important details related to joint military exercises in which India participants. These details are very helpful for the aspirants of the NDA and CDS Exams which will be conducted by the UPSC in coming months.

    • It was held from 31 Jan  to 5 Feb 2018.
    • The focus was on high degree of physical fitness, tactical drills, techniques and procedure.

    • The location was Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
    • It was held from 30 Jan to 3 Feb 2018.
    • The focus was on cooperation in the maritime domain.

    Hamesha Vijayee

    Southern Command

    • The location was Rajasthan.
    • It was held from 16 Dec to 22 Dec 2017.
    • It aimed at fine tuning surveillance and destruction mechanisms to support precision strikes and manoeuvres by network enabled forces.

    • The location was Mahajan Firing Range, India.
    • It was held from 1 Dec to14 Dec 2017.
    • The aim of the exercise was to build and promote bilateral relations and enhance interoperability.

    • It’s a joint naval exercise.
    • The recent exercise was held in July 2017 in the Bay of Bengal.
