LLB Admissions in Brahmanand Degree College Start Again After Obtaining Affiliation from BCI

The admission in LLB course in Brahmanand Degree College, Kanpur has begun.

The admission in LLB course in Brahmanand Degree College, Kanpur has begun. To run LLB course in Brahmanand Degree College which is situated on Mall Road received affiliation on October 4 from Bar Council of India.

Prior to October 4, the affiliation of BND College was expired, because of which the CSJM University did not include the BDM College for LLB admission counselling.

Vivek Dwivedi (BND College principal) informed that some seats are still vacant and the interested students can apply till October 20, which is the last date for admissions.

Students above 30 years can take admission in LLB course only in the next academic session, they are presently not being considered. By then the college would receive intimation from the University in this matter.

Lately, the Bar Council of India took back the imposition of ban in the state of not permitting the state universities to admit students of 30 years above in course LLB.

Now, there is no such ban and Kanpur University is yet to be informed in this regard in writing from BCI. Later to that, the university would permit degree colleges to intake 30 years and above interested candidates for graduate level law course.
