Eligibility Criteria for Group C Posts

Educational Qualification:

• Fire Engine Driver – 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board. Must have at least three years experience of driving heavy vehicles and be in possession of valid driving licence
• Fireman – 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board). Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fitting and fire appliances and equipments fire engines, trailer, pumps, foam branches. Must be familiar with the use and maintenance first-aid fire fighting appliances and Trailer Fire Pump
• Tradesman Mate (Erstwhile Mazdoor/ Labourer) – 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board
• Chowkidar – 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board
• Cook – 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board
• Washerman – 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board. Must be able to the wash military/ Civilian cloths thoroughly well
• Civil Motor Driver (CMD) – 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board.Must possess civil driving license for heavy vehicles and have minimum two years experience of driving such vehicles. Proof of experience of 2 years is mandatory with application form
• Fire Fitter –10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognised Board/University. Must possess diploma/TTI for the post

Age Limit:

• Gen: 18 to 25 yrs
• OBC: 18 to 28 yrs
• SC/ST: 18 to 30 yrs
