Ministry of Defense Notified Recruitment for 10 Fireman Group ‘C’ Vacancies 2013

Ministry of Defense invites applications on the prescribed form, for recruitment to 10 posts of Fireman Group ‘C’ in 344 COY ASC (Sup) Type ‘B’ C/O 56 APO. Education Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent Examination.

Age Limit

Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 25 years
Upper age limit relax-able by 3 years for OBC Category candidates and by 5 years for SC category candidates

Physical Standards

Height: 165 cms (relaxable by 2.5 cms for ST candidates)
Chest: 81.5 cms Normal; 85 cms (expanded)
Weight: 50 kgs (minimum)
 
Candidates must be physically fit to perform strenuous duty.

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in Endurance Test, Written Test, Oral test (Interview) and Medical Test.

In case, the number of applications received is large, the recruitment authority may restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit by screening the applications for various selection parameters.
 
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the Date, venue and time of various tests, as and when required.
 
Only selected candidates will be informed about their selections.

Selected candidates will be on probation for a period of 2 years and have all India Service liability.

Final selection / appointment is subject to candidates being found medically fit after the medical examinations.

Admit Cards: Admit Cards will be sent to the eligible candidates through ordinary post in the self addressed envelope, with postal stamp of requisite amount pasted on it, sent along with the application by the candidate for the purpose.
