Eligibility Criteria for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and other Job
Educational Qualification:
- Research Associate (RA): D degree in Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences/Ecology/Wildlife Sciences. Preference will be given to candidates with a strong taxonomic orbioinformatic background and prior experience in molecular techniques.
- Curator Director/Assistant Director Admin: D degree in Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences/Ecology/Wildlife Sciences. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in natural history museum curation.
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Sc degree in Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences/Ecology/Wildlife Sciences with NET/non- NET qualification. Preference will be given to candidates with prior knowledge/experience in field work, taxonomy and molecular techniques.
- Curator Staff/Assistant Curator: Sc degree in Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences/Ecology/Wildlife Sciences. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in natural history museum curation.
- Laboratory/Field Assistant/Project Assistant: HSSLC (and above) in any stream. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in biodiversity inventorization field work, laboratory knowledge and strong work ethic.
Salary:
- Research Associate (RA): 47,000 with 8% HRA.
- Curator Director/Assistant Director Admin: 40,000 (consolidated).
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF): JRF @Rs.31,000 with 8% HRA for the 1st & 2nd year; SRF @Rs.35,000 with 8% HRA for the 3rd year.
- Curator Staff/Assistant Curator: 25,000 (consolidated)
- Laboratory/Field Assistant/Project Assistant: 20,000 with 8% HRA

How to Apply
