Eligibility Criteria for Scientist Posts

Educational Qualification

• Scientist-F – Ph.D (Sci.) with 14 years research experience or Ph.D (Engg.) with 9 years research experience or MD/M.Tech/ME with 14 years research experience.
• Scientist-E - Ph.D (Sci.) with 10 years research experience or Ph.D (Engg.) with 6 years research experience or MD/M.Tech/ME with 10 years research experience.
• Scientist-D - Ph.D (Sci.) with 8 years research experience or Ph.D (Engg.) with 3 years research experience or MD/M.Tech/ME with 8 years research experience.
• Scientist-C - Ph.D (Sci.) with 4 years research experience or Ph.D (Engg.) or MD/M.Tech/ME with 4 years research experience.

Max Age Limits (as on 31 May 2017)

• Scientist-F, Scientist-E – 55 years
• Scientist-D - 50 years
• Scientist-C - 40 years

Application Fee

For UR/OBC – Rs.100/-

For SC/ST/PwD Candidates – No application fee shall be charged.

Mode of Payment: Demand Draft in favour of the “Food Biotechnology Institute” payable at Phase 1 Mohali.
