NCERT Recruitment 2024: Apply Online For 170 Project Staff Posts, Check Eligibility And Selection Process

NCERT Recruitment 2024: National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT) has released notifiation for recruitment of various Project Staff posts on its official website. A total of 170 posts are to be filled through the recruitment drive for different posts including Assistant Editors, Proofreaders and DTP Operators. Interested and eligible candidates can appear for skill test/ screening and registration of application form on February 01, 2024. 
 
Selection for these posts will be done based on a skill test/ screening  which will be held on February 01 to 03, 2024 at the venue mentioned in the notification.

NCERT Project Staff Posts 2024: Important Dates

The organisation has uploaded a detailed notification including the online application schedule on its official website. The applicants may attend the test and interview with a copy of their curriculum vitae (CV) alongwith original certificates and photocopies of the same duly self-attested on the schedule as mentioned in the notification.

What is the NCERT Posts Eligibility and Age Limit?

Educational Qualification:

Assistant Editor:

• A bachelor degree from a recognised university.
• Post graduate diploma in Book Publishing/Mass Communication/Journalism, where editing is one of the subjects.
• You are advised to check the notification link for details of the educational qualification of the posts.
   At least 5 year experience in editing, producing-planning and supervising publications especially school textbooks, monographs and reports in a responsible capacity.
• Knowledge of books production techniques, modern process of printing, typography and should be proficient in English/Hindi/Urdu.

  NCERT Project Staff Recruitment 2024: Age limit 

• Assistant Editor-50 years
• Proofreader- 42 years
• DTP Operators-45 years'

NCERT : Remuneration

• Assistant Editor-Rs. 80,000/- per month (Consolidated)
• Proofreader- Rs. 37,000/- per month (Consolidated)
