A total of 280 Trainee Engineers/ Trainee Officers posts are to be filled through the recruitment drive through GATE-2023 score. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these posts on or before March 26, 2024.
Candidates having certain educational qualification including full time regular degree in engineering / technology / B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in civil discipline can apply for these posts. NHPC TE 2024 Eligibility

Educational Qualification:
Trainee Engineer (Civil): Candidates should have a full time regular degree in engineering / technology / B.Sc. (Engineering) degree in civil discipline from recognised Indian University /Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade Or AMIE (enrollment upto May 31, 2013) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.

NHPC Selection Procedure
Candidates shall be short-listed for group discussion & personal interview based on their normalized marks out of 100 in the corresponding paper of GATE-2023 only and as per the criteria decided by the Management. Eligible candidates should have qualified and secured a valid score in the corresponding paper of GATE 2023.

NHPC Compensation Package
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of 50,000 - 3% - 1,60,000 (IDA) (E2) during one year training period. On successful completion of training, the candidates will be absorbed asEngineer/Officerin the same scale with probation of one year.The total annual emoluments for the new joinee shall be approx.Rs.15 Lakh.
