National Institute of Technology (NIT), Silchar invited applications for recruitment to various posts. Interested candidates should appear for the walk-in-interview, on the date assigned for the concerned post, to be held at the Institute from 17 June 2015 till 20 June 2015.

• For Technical Officer, Technical Assistant & Engineer (Civil) posts: 18 June 2015 from 1030 hours
• For Student Counsellor, Medical Officer (Part Time) & Work Assistant (Nurse) (Part Time) posts: 19 June 2015 from 1030 hours

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: 

• For Post 1: PG degree in relevant discipline;
• For Post 2: BE/ B.Tech. or M.Sc./ MCA in relevant field;
• For Post 3: Bachelor’s degree in Sciences in relevant subjects OR Diploma in Engineering in relevant field OR PG degree in Science or BE/ B.Tech. in relevant field;
• For Post 4: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
• For Post 5: MA in Clinical Psychology;
• For Post 6: MBBS degree and PG in Ophthalmology/ Medicine/ Paediatrics; BDS;
• For Post 7: HSSLC (10+2) with Nursing certificate and relevant work experience;
• For Post 8: Graduate in any discipline with Knowledge of MS word, Excel, etc;   
• For Post 9: (10+2) with relevant work experience;

Selection Procedure

Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the walk-in-interview, to be held at the Institute between 17 June 2015 and 20 June 2015, both days inclusive.
