The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting UGC – NET June 2024 for

No, you are required to answer in the medium as per the option exercised in the Application Form.

Today i.e. on 14 June Mr Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar confirmed regarding the admit card date. He announced on its X account that the admit card for all the application will be available tonight.

If a question is found to be incorrect and the Question is dropped, then two marks (+2) will be given only to those candidates who have attempted the question. No, there is no negative marking in the exam which means no deductions of marks will be done for wrong answers. Hence, students are advised not to miss any answers. 

The result timings are not confirmed by the NTA. However, the result is expected to be released around 9 PM or 10 PM. The link will be provided here as soon as it is released by the exam body.

The exam city has been released by the NTA i.e. ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The candidates can click on the link to check their exam city details. The exam city slip consists of exam city details.

UGC NET Exam City Details

The candidates must report at the exam centre two hours before the starting of the exam to complete the frisking and registration formalities well before time. It is to be noted that the registration desk will be closed 30 minutes before the examination.

The question paper will be set in English & Hindi only, except for language papers. Candidates are required to answer in the medium as per the option they have chosen. 

The exam will consist of two papers. Both papers will consist of objective-type and multiple-choice questions. There will be 50 questions of 100 marks and 100 questions of 200 marks. The candidates will be given 3 hours to complete the test. 

In case a candidate is unable to download the admit card from the website, he/she may approach the Help Line of NTA between 09:30 am to 5:30 pm or write to NTA.

The candidate should keep the following documents ready so that they bring these document at the exam centre:

• Admit Card along with Self Declaration (Undertaking) downloaded from the NTA Website (a clear printout on A4 size paper) duly filled in.
• Additional photograph, to be pasted on Attendance Sheet
• A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
• Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).
• Personal transparent water bottle.
