What is the SAIL Management Trainee Posts Eligibility and Age Limit?

The eligibility criteria and age limit have been released by the examination authority. Candidates can refer to the official notification for details.

Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a degree in engineering with 65% marks (average of all semesters, irrespective of the weightage given to any particular year by the institute or university) in the relevant engineering disciplines of chemical, civil, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical, metallurgy, and mining.

SAIL Management Trainee Selection Procedure

The candidate will be selected solely on the basis of their performance in a written examination, GD, and interview. The candidates will be shortlisted for GD and interviews in the ratio of 1:3

SAIL Management Trainee Salary

The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 50000–180000 at the basic pay.  On successful training of the candidates for one year, the candidates will be designated as assistant managers and will be placed in the pay scale of Rs 60000–180000.
