SMVDU Invites Applications for the Faculty and Other Non-Teaching Staff Posts

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University invited applications from the suitable candidates for the post of Professor, Registrar, Librarian, and Associate Professor. Candidates can apply for the posts before the last date of application on 10 April 2017.

Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University invited applications from the suitable candidates for the post of Professor, Registrar, Librarian, and Associate Professor. Candidates possessing the requisite qualifications can apply for the posts through the prescribed format. The last date of application is 10 April 2017.

Candidates applying for the post of Professor in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Energy Management should have Masters in technology and PhD in relevant discipline with 10 years experience in teaching / research / industrial experience of which minimum five years should be at the level of Associate Professor. Or minimum of 13 years of experience in teaching and / or research and / or industry and consolidated API score of 400.

For the post of professor candidate should have Master’s degree in concerned discipline and PhD in relevant discipline and consolidated API score of 400.

Candidates applying for the post of Associate Professor Candidate should have Masters in concerned discipline and PhD in relevant discipline with 5 years experience in teaching / research / industrial experience of which minimum 2 years should be at the level of Associate Professor. Along with the A consolidated API score of 300.

Candidates applying for the Non Teaching Posts should have Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent with 15 years of administrative experience, of which 08 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or equivalent

For the post of Librarian candidate should have Ph.D. in Library Science with Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/documentation with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent

Eligible candidates can send the completed applications in the prescribed format to the ‘Registrar, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Kakryal,Katra, J&K. The last date for submission of application is 10 April 2017.
