TNPSC Group 4 Recruitment 2024: Apply Online For 6244 Vacancies, Check Eligibility

TNPSC Recruitment 2024: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has released recruitment notification for Group 4 posts on its official website. A total of 6244 vacancies are to be filled through the recruitment drive including Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant, Typist, Personal Assistant, Private Secretary, Bill Collector and others. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for these posts on or before February 28, 2024.

The application correction window period will remain open from March 04 to 06, 2024. Selection for these posts will be done based on a written exam which will be held tentatively on June 09, 2024. TNPSC Group 4 Document Required

Candidates applying for these posts will have to provide the required educational and other certificates during the selection process. You can check the list of documents given below. 

•  SSLC / HSC / Diploma / Degree / PG Degree / Integrated PG Degree /Provisional Degree or  Provisional Diploma Certificate / Consolidated Mark Sheet along with Degree or Provisional Degree. The certificate shall be accepted as proof of educational qualification.
•  In cases where the Diploma / Degree / PG Degree certificates had been issued after the date  of notification, candidates must upload/produce proof (in the form of a Provisional Diploma / Degree 
  Certificate / Consolidated Mark Sheet, etc.) of the publication of results of the respective qualification(s) on or before the date of notification.
•  Candidates who have cleared SSLC / HSC examinations in more than one attempt must upload/produce mark sheets of all attempts. Uploading / production of Foundation / Pre-Foundation  Course certificates instead of SSLC / HSC certificates shall result in rejection of candidature after due process. The degree qualification prescribed for the above posts should have been obtained by passing the required qualification in the following order of studies viz. SSLC + HSC/Diploma or its equivalent + U.G. Degree.

What is the TNPSC Group 4 Posts Eligibility and Age Limit?

The eligibility criteria and age limit have been released by the examination authority. Candidates can refer to the official notification for details.
 
Educational Qualification: 
Junior Assistant: Candidates should have a degree from a recognized University or Institution.
2. Preference shall be given to Law Graduates if other things are being equal among Law and Non-Law Graduates.

Age Limit: The candidates should have completed the age of 18 years and should not have completed 32 years as on 01.07.2024 for all the posts, except for the posts of Village Administrative Officer, Forest Guard, Forest Guard with Driving Licence, Forest Watcher, and Forest Watcher (Tribal Youth).

TNPSC Group 4 Selection Procedure

Based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the written examination and subject to the rule of reservation of appointments, the list of eligible candidates will be announced for onscreen certificate verification. After verification, the eligible candidates will be admitted for physical certificate verification.
