About CMAT
CMAT is an acronym for Common Management Admission Test. It is a national-level test which analyses the aptitude of the MBA aspirants. The entrance exam grants admission to one of the best Institutes/Colleges/B-Schools of India. CMAT is conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
CMAT will be conducted once in a year beginning from 2016-17 academic session. Previously the entrance was conducted twice in a year. It is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) which requires every aspirant to hold atleast a graduation degree to participate in the entrance. Usually the test is conducted in the month of January every year.
