How to Become Government School Teacher
Eligibility Criteria for PGT, TGT, PRT and PET Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
PGT: Master’s Degree from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or Two years integrated postgraduate course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in concerned subject. B.Ed or equivalent degree and proficiency in English Medium.
TGT: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or 4 years degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in concerned subject. B.Ed degree and proficiency in English Medium. Candidates should have qualified CTET Paper II conducted by CBSE.
TGT (ART): 5 years recognized Diploma in Drawing and Painting / Sculpture / Graphic Art or equivalent recognized degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Proficiency in Teaching in English medium.
TGT (PET): Bachelor Degree in Physical Education from recognized university or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Proficiency in Teaching in English medium.
PRT: Senior Secondary School Certificate/Intermediate with 50% marks and 2 Year D.Ed. Candidates should have passed English as Subject at 10+2 level. The valid score in CTET Paper I is compulsory.
Selection Process for PGT, TGT, PRT and PET Posts
Selection will be on the basis of written test, followed by a skill test.

Candidates should walk in for written and skill test on 26th, 27th February 2018 and 3rd March 2018 (09.30 AM onwards.) as per the schedule.
