The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the UGC NET re-exam results for the three subjects (English, Commerce, Sociology) on September 17, 2026, on its official website. The re-exam for these three subjects was held on September 9 and 10, 2026. The re-exam was conducted for the three subjects due to technical and paper discrepancies in the June cycle. Candidates who sat for the re-exam in English, Commerce, and Sociology will now be able to check their results on the official website, i.e., ugcnet.nta.nic.in. 

UGC NET Re-Exam Result  2026 OUT

The result for the UGC NET June 2026 for 84 subjects was declared on August 28, 2026. The result for only three subjects was left as they were to be re-conducted because of technical errors in the paper. The re-exam for English, Commerce, and Sociology subjects was conducted on September 9 and 10, and the provisional answer key with the objection challenge window was opened from September 10 to 13, 2026. The UGC NET Re-Exam Result 2026 has been declared, along with thecutoff marks, on the official website of the NTA.

The cutoff marks for the UGC NET Re- Exam for English, Commerce, and Sociology subjects have been released along with the release of the result. The cutoff marks have been released in PDF format, which has been divided into category-wise and between JRF, Assistant Professor, and admission for PhD.
