| 1. निम्नलिखित गद्यांश को पढ़कर पूछे गए प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए- |
| कबीर जन्मजात प्रतिभाशाली व्यक्ति थे। सिद्ध पुरुष के रूप में उनकी ख्याति शीघ्र फैल गई । वे जहाँ भी जाते, वहीं अनेक लोग उनके शिष्य हो जाते। हिन्दू-मुस्लिम दोनों धर्मो के लोग उनके शिष्य थे। उन्होंने समानता की दृष्टि रखकर बाह्याडम्बरों और रूढियों का खण्डन किया। इसके परिणामस्वरूप हिन्दू और मुसलमान दोनों ही जातियों के लोग उनके विरोधी हो गए। कहते है जिस समय सिकन्दर लोदी काशी आया तो मुल्लाओं और पण्डितों ने उससे कबीर की शिकायत की। इस पर सिकन्दर लोदी ने कबीर को सिपाही द्वारा बुलवा भेजा। सवेरे के बुलाए हुए कबीर शाम को पहुँचे। इसको देखकर बादशाह आगबबूला हो गया और उनसे पूछा कि इतनी देर से क्यों आए हो । |
| कबीर ने कहा कि मुझे एक अद्भुत आश्चर्य दिखाई दिया, जिसे आप भी देखते तो देखते ही रहते । उसने पूछा कि वह आश्चर्य क्या है? कबीर ने उत्तर दिया कि मैंने देखा कि सुई के छेद से हाथी, घोडे, ऊँट, पर्वत सब निकलते चले जा रहे हैं। बादशाह स्वयं उस दृश्य को देखने के लिए तैयार हुआ तब कबीर ने बताया कि वह दृश्य आप यहीं देख सकते हैं आपकी आँख की पुतली सुई के छेद के बराबर है परन्तु उससे आप हाथी, घोडे, ऊँट, वन, पर्वत सभी देख लेते है, सब उसमें समा जाते हैं। क्या यह आश्चर्य की बात नहीं? कहते हैं कि कबीर की बातों से सिकन्दर लोदी बहुत प्रभावित हुआ और उनको प्रणाम करके छोड़ दिया। |
