UP Board Intermediate (Class 12) Result to be declared on 5 June 2012

The U.P. Board of High School and Intermediate Education is currently preparing the results of nearly 32 lakh students who appeared for the Class 10th and 12th class examination in the month of March 2012.

The UP Board had conducted the 12th class examination from 1 March 2012. The 12th class examination for all streams was completed by 4 April. UP Board Intermediate Result (class 12) result is to be declared on 5 June 2012.

The U.P. Board of High School and Intermediate Education was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council conducts board exams for both class 10 and 12 students. The first public examination after 10 years education is High School Examination and after the 10+2 stage, there is Intermediate Examination.

Currently there are 9121 secondary schools recognized by the U.P. Board of High School and Intermediate Education.
UP Board Result Analysis 2011

Last year in 2011, the overall pass percentage in the intermediate examination was nearly 80.14%. It was dipped by a marginal 0.40% as compared to 2010, when it was 80.54%. However in 2011, the resounding success of girls over the boys grabbed the attention again. The overall pass percentage for girls stood at 90.76 in comparison to 70.53 of boys, a difference of nearly 20.23%, which was quite appreciable. Hopefully this year too, the girls maintain the same record
