The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has cancelled the UP Police Constable exam. Post addressing the rumors surrounding the alleged paper leak and urging for evidence to substantiate claims, concerns persisted due to rampant rumors on social media. This leaded to the cancellation of UP Police Constable exam held on February 17 & 18, 2024, which aimed to fill 60,241 vacancies.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, announced via social media that the UP Police Constable exam held on February 17 and 18 has been cancelled due to allegations of paper leaks. A re-examination will be scheduled within the next six months.
UP Police Constable exam was held on February 17 & 18, 2024 to fill 60,241 vacancies. With over 50 lakh candidates registered for the UP Police exam, the competition was fierce. However, since the exam's completion, rumours have been rampant on social media alleging paper leaks, causing significant concern among candidates. These allegations surfaced through screenshots and images circulated on various social media platforms, prompting demands for the cancellation of the exam.

However, in its latest post on X, formerly Twitter, the board has urged the public to provide evidence for the alleged UP Police Constable 2024 paper leak.
Candidates with relevant evidence can submit it to the official email ID of UPPRPB by February 23. They must include their name, address, mobile number, and Aadhaar number along with the proof. Evidences must be submitted by 6 pm on February 23 on the official email ID: board@uppbpb.gov.in.

UP Police Constable exam took place on February 17 & 18 across 2,385 examination centers. This examination aimed to fill 60,244 Constable vacancies. Nearly 48 lakh candidates participated in the exam. The authorities claim that the exam proceeded smoothly without any instances of cheating or questions being leaked.
