UPPSC Cutoff 2023: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the cutoff marks for its 2023 exam in PDF format on its official website - uppsc.up.nic.in. This year, the cutoff released for OBC and EWS category is higher that the cutoff released for unreserved candidates.

UPPSC Cutoff 2023
The cut off marks vary for each category such as general, OBC, SC, ST, and EWS. The cutoff are the marks of the last candidate who is selected for the next phase of examination. The UPPSC has released the marksheet and cutoff marks of the examination, which was conducted on May 14, 2023
UPPSC Group wise cutoff
Candidates from the unreserved category who scored 125 in the PCS-2023 preliminary examination were considered successful for the prelims examination. However, from the OBC category who scored more than 128 marks and more than 129 marks from EWS were eligible to take the prelims examination. UPPSC Prelims Cutoff Marks 2023: Deciding Factors
Various factors contribute to deciding the cut off marks of the UPPSC exam. Here are the list of factors affecting the UPPSC prelims cutoff marks shared below:
- Number of Applicants: The UPPSC prelims cutoff marks are decided based on the total number of applicants who appeared in the exam. Less test-takers lead to less competition overall and lower cutoff scores.
- Vacancies: The total vacancies are used to ascertain UPPSC prelims cutoff marks. If the UPPSC prelims vacancies are low, then the cutoff marks will be high, and vice-versa.
