UPPSC PCS Eligibility Criteria 2025
The candidates applying for the recently announced vacancies of group A service in the Uttar Pradesh government must have completed the bachelor's degree from any recognised university up to the last date for receipt of application. Also, the candidates must have attained a minimum of 21 years as of July 1, 2025. The upper age limit is 40 years; however, relaxation in age will be given to reserved category candidates.

The candidates applying for the announced vacancies must have completed a bachelor's degree from a recognised university up to the last date of receipt of the online application. But for certain posts, certain specific qualifications have been required, which are listed below in the table.

UPPSC PCS Age Limit 2025
The candidates applying for the announced vacancies must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years on July 01, 2025, i.e. they must have not been born earlier than July 2, 1985 and not later than July 01, 2004, For PH candidates, the maximum age limit is 55 years i.e. they must have not been born before 02 July, 1970.

Apart from the UPPSC PCS age limit criteria, candidates should ensure they fulfil all the nationality criteria before applying. A candidate should be a citizen of India when applying for the UPPSC recruitment process.
UPPSC PCS Eligibility Criteria 2025: Marital Status
As per the UPPSC PCS notification, all male candidates who are married and have more than one wife living and female candidates who have married a person already having a wife will not be considered eligible unless the Hon'ble Governor has granted an exemption from this criteria.
