UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination 2014 was held on 22 June 2014 and subsequently, results were declared on the basis of merit in examination and Interview. Now on the request of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, UPSC has recommended 118 reserved candidates for recruitment. The UPSC has notified that the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare will contact the recommended candidates directly, for further formalities.
Earlier, Union Public Service Commission invited application for the post of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in Railways, Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services, Central Health Services, and GDMO for East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation and New Delhi Municipal Corporation.
801 candidates were shortlisted for a recommendation on the combined basis of merit in the examination and Interview and a reserved list was kept for as per the rules of the UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination, of which 118 have been recommended for appointment as per the demands of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
Candidates may contact UPSC for further queries; Union Public Service Commission has a ‘Facilitation Counter’ near Examination Hall Building in its Campus. Candidates may obtain any information /clarification regarding their recommendation on working days between 10:00 A.M. and 05:00 P.M.
