Ashok Vemuri resigned as CEO of iGate Corporation
Vemuri joined the US-based iGate as CEO in September 2013. When Capgemini announced the acquisition, he held 400000 shares of iGate.
The Infosys veteran Ashok Vemuri on 6 October 2015 resigned from his position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of iGATE Corporation.
Vemuri joined the US-based iGate as CEO in September 2013. When Capgemini announced the acquisition, he held 400000 shares of iGate. The shares were valued at over 19 million US dollar in April 2015.
Vemuri was born on 22 April 1968. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in physics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi, and completed his master’s degree in business management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
In 2013, he was listed in the 50 Outstanding Asian Americans in Business by the Asian American Business Center.
