Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and Ministry of Defence have signed MoU to set up dedicated Tele Manas Cell for Armed Forces. The special Tele Manas Cell will function as a dedicated mental health support helpline for all the armed forces of the country. There are total 51 Tele Manas cells functioning in all the States and Union Territories.

Indian researchers have recently discovered a unique blue ant species in Siang Valley, a "biodiversity hotspot" in Arunachal Pradesh. It has been discovered by researchers at Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE). According to ATREE researchers, the species has been named Paraparatrechina neela for its "distinctness from common red, black or brown ants.

South Korea has recently officially launched its space agency. It aims to promote policy and industrial development in the aerospace sector. South Korea has named it Korea Aerospace Administration (KASA). South Korea plans its first lunar mission in 2032.

World Environment Day is celebrated across the world every year on 5 June to raise and maintain awareness about the preservation of the environment. The United Nations General Assembly declared June 5 as World Environment Day during the Stockholm Conference in 1972. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the nodal agency for environmental protection.

Recently, Maldives has banned the entry of Israeli passport holders into its country. Maldives has taken this decision amid growing public anger over the ongoing war in Gaza. Let us tell you that Maldives had lifted the ban on Israeli citizens in the early 1990s and restored diplomatic relations in 2010.
