World Wildlife Day is observed across the globe on March 3, 2022. The day aims to celebrate and raise awareness of the world’s wild animals and plants. The 2022 theme of the World Wildlife Day is “Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration”.

The sixth phase of UP Assembly Polls 2022 was held on March 3, 2022 in 57 seats across 10 districts including Gorakhpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Kushinagar, Deoria, Ballia, Basti, Balrampur, Maharajganj, Sant Kabir Nagar and Siddharthnagar. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is among the candidates in the fray in this phase, he is contesting from Gorakhpur Urban seat.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, former actor and comedian, is the sixth and current President of Ukraine. He played the role of a teacher who becomes President of Ukraine in the TV show ‘Srvant of the People.’

Former Indian Test Vice-Captain Ajinkya Rahane along with Cheteshwar Pujara has been downgraded from Grade A to B in the latest central contracts list of the BCCI. The list was ratified by the Board's Apex Council on March 2, 2022. The BCCI has four categories of annual remuneration for players –A+, A, B and C. This year’s contract list includes 27 players.
