The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards was organised on 31 January 2010, at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Beyoncé won six awards and broke the record for most wins by a female artist in one night.

Beyoncé won six awards and broke the record for most wins by a female artist in one night. A.R. Rahman from India who had earlier emerged winner at the Oscars bagged two Grammy awards for his foot-tapping number ‘Jai Ho’ and outstanding soundtrack for the film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.
The winners of the 2010 Grammy Awards are-
Album of The Year: Fearless by Taylor Swift
Best Female Pop Vocal Performance: Halo by Beyoncé
Best rap/sung collaboration: Run This Town by Jay-Z, Rihanna & Kanye West
Best Rock Album: 21st Century Breakdown by Green Day
Record of the Year: Use Somebody by Kings Of Leon
Song Of The Year: Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) by Thaddis Harrell, Beyoncé Knowles, Terius Nash & Christopher Stewart, songwriters (Beyoncé)
Best Male Pop Vocal Performance: Make It Mine by Jason Mraz from: We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things.
Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media: Slumdog Millionaire
Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media: Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire
