Dr Reddy’s Laboratories on 1 April 2013 appointed G.V. Prasad, the son-in-law of founder Anji Reddy, as the Chief Executive Officer of the company. The son of Anji Reddy, Satish Reddy would be the Vice-Chairman of the company, while also playing the role of Managing Director as well as the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

It is important to note that G.V. Prasad has remained instrumental in the strategic planning of DRL. Satish Reddy, on the other hand, remained crucial for executing the plans of the company.
G.V. Prasad is also the board of member of Acumen Fund, Indian School of Business, Infotech Enterprises and Institute of Life Sciences. Satish Reddy in the meanwhile joined DRL in 1993 and is the head of Global Generics and Pharmaceutical Services and Active Ingredients (PSAI).
